Senior Consultant
We are looking for candidates to fill our Senior Consultant role. Above all, a successful Senior Consultant possesses effective communication and analytical skills enabling independent problem solving. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of hands-on experience consulting for pharma manufacturers in the areas of commercial contracting and discounting, commercial and Medicaid rebate processing, government pricing or gross-to-net.

Responsibilities

Assist in leading projects, collaborating with other resources effectively to achieve project deliverables and goals

Coordinate and participate in client facing meetings and assist in documenting requirements, situational analyses, and solution definition documents

With limited supervision, gather facts and analyze situations in a thorough, accurate and organized manner using agreed upon tools, methodologies, etc.

Take lead to resolve issues and develop solutions and approaches to meet clients’ needs

Design and develop quantitative analyses using MS Access, Excel, and other toolsets

Actively gain technical knowledge through on-the-job and formal training
-
Manage multiple projects delivering quantitative analysis and automation; manage to budget, duration and scope

Play lead role on projects or project work-streams, building strong client relationships
-
Demonstrate ability to identify needs that clients may not recognize; link solutions to client objectives and future needs, and help key client personnel to fully grasp their situation, opportunities, challenges and strategic options

Oversee and execute development tasks and take ownership of quality, completeness, accuracy, and timeliness

Work directly with our solution partners on project delivery, account management, and business development
Requirements

Experience in commercial contracting, pricing and/or gross-to-net management in the Life Sciences manufacturing industry (3-5 years preferred)

Knowledge of business concepts in the areas of Managed Care and Medicare Part D contracting and rebates, GPO contracting and chargebacks, Government Pricing calculations, Gross-to-Net Channel Forecasting, and Accruals and Reserve Management

Hands-on experience with data and the development of data-driven quantitative models or data management routines; knowledge of Life Sciences Revenue Management data, Trade and Distribution and/or syndicated data (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony, etc.) data is a plus

Strong communication skills and expert level proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint

Advanced knowledge and skill with MS Excel modeling and MS Access development

Problem-solving aptitude with a willingness for hands-on application of technology

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects across multiple clients

Familiarity with analytics technologies and tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.) is a plus

BSc/BA or similar 4-year college degree
