The Trump Administration released three Executive Orders on July 24, one of which resurrects the rebate rule. There is an important caveat this time around in that the rule cannot increase Federal spending, Medicare premiums or patient out-of-pocket costs. Otherwise, the Secretary of HHS is ordered to complete the rulemaking process.
